HomeMy WebLinkAbout920_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 920 CALLING REGULAR MUNICIPAL ELECTION IT IS RESOLVED AND ORDERED ET THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AS FOLLOW FIRST: That a regular municipal election be, and the same is, hereby called to be held in the City of Redlands, County of 3an Bernardino, State of California, an Tuesday, the 8th day of April, 1958, for the following officers: Three City Councilmen for the full term of four years. SECOND; Each of said election officers named being an elector and resident of the City of Redlands. That the Inspector at each polling place shall receive as compensation for all services performed the sum of $15.00 and each of the other election officers the sum of $12.00, which sum is hereby declared to be the just compensation for said officers. THIM: The polls of said election shall be opened at 7:00 ofclock A.M. of said day and remain open until 7:00 o'clock P.M. thereof, when said polls shall be closed. FOURTH: That in all particulars not recited in this resolution said election shall be held and conducted as provided by law for holding regular municipal elections in -the City of Redlands. FIFTH: That the City Council of the City of Redlands shall meet and canvass the returns of said election at the regular meeting place of said Council on the 15th day of April, 1958, at the hour of 7:00 o'clock P.M. SIXTH: That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution by a vote of at least three-fifth of all the members of said City Council of the City of Redlands and of its approval by the Mayor of said City, and shall cause notice of such election to be published at least two times in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation printed, published and circulated in said City of Redlands, which newspaper is hereby designated for that purpose. Said City Clerk is also hereby directed to give such other notices relating to said election as is required by law. DATED Th IS Day of Wa.,.W..J. 1958 ATTEST!
