A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS REQUESTING THE
BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO TO PERMIT THE REGISTRAR
OF VOTERS OF SAID COUNTY TO RENDER SPECIFIED SERVICES TO THE CITY OF REDLANDS.,,
RELATING TO THE CONDUCT OF A REGULAR MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID
CITY ON APRIL 10$ 1962.
WHEREAS, a regular municipal election is to be held in the City of
Redlands on April 10, 1962:
THEREAS, in the course of conduct of said election and in relation thereto
it will be necessary to use copies of the indices to the registered voters and
to mail sample ballots and polling place cards to the registered voters of the
City, and it will facilitate such mailing if the Registrar of Voters of the
County of San Bernardino will prepare and furnish the City the imprinting of
the names and addresses of the registered voters of said City on mailing labels
or stickers furnished by the City:
WHEREAS, all necessary expense in performing this service shall be paid
by the City of Redlands:
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Redlands does hereby
RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER, as follows
SECTION 1. That pursuant to the provisions of Section 9483 of the Elections
Code of the State of California, this City Council hereby requests the Board of
Supervisors of said County to per-mit- the Registrar of Voters to prepare and
furnish to said City., for use in conducting said election to be held on April 101,
1962P the imprinting of the names and addresses of the registered voters of said
City., on m.adling labels or stickers furnished by the City and to prepare four ()4.1
sets of indices to the registered voters.
SECTION 2. That said City shall reimburse said County for services performed
when the work is completed and upon presentation to the City of a properly ap-
proved bill.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to forward without delay to
said Board of Supervisors and to said Registrar of Voters, each a certified
copy of this resolution.
