A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS REQ1JEST ING
THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN BERT'IARDINO TO PERMIT
THE REGISTRAR OF VOTERS OF SAID COUNTY TO RENDER SPECIFIED SERVICES
TO THE CITY OF REDLAINDS RET AT TO THE CONDUCT OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL
ELECTION TO BE HELD !N SAID CITY ON APRIL it, 1972
WHEREAS , a General 1,1bunicipal Election is to be held in the Citv of
Redlands on April 11, 1972 ; and
WHEREJ-P6 , in the course of conduct of said election and in relation
thereto it Will be necessary to mail sample ballots and pol-ling place
inserts tothe registered voters of the City, and it will tfacilitate

such mailing if the Reg.istrar of Voters of the County of San Bernardino
,wrill prepare and -furnish the City the imprinting of the names and
addresses of the registered voters of said City on I .B.M, pol-ling, place
inserts furnished by the City, and after burstina the forms will insert
the polling place insert and sample ballot into e'--nvolones, all to be
furnished by the City, will place all envelo
nes in zip-coded mail bags,
advise City Clerk of the num1ber or pieces t-o be -mailed, prepare POD Form

City Clerk w-hen work is complete so delivery can be arranged; and
WHEREAS , all necessary expense inperform. ing this service shall be
paid by the Ci-Cly of Redlands ;
NO19, THEREFORE, the 'City Councii of the it of Redlands does hereby
RESOLVE, DETE-RINIINE AND OPDER as follows,
SECTION 1 . T-I'lalt- pursi,,-antz to the provisions of Sect,ion 22003 of the
Elections Code of the State of California, thiis City Counc-Li hereb,,T
requests -he Board of Supervisors cif said count--v to par-mit the Registrar
of Voters to prepare and furnish to said City for use in conducting said
eiection to be lleldd on April 11, 1972, -heimpr'Jt n i ao, f the names and
addresses of t-he registered voters of said City on I-B .M. polling place
inserts furnished by the City and after bursting the forms to insert the,
polling place insert and sample ballots into envelopes, all to be
