A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
AUTHORIZING CERTAIN OF ITS MEMBERS TO FILE A WRITTEN ARGUMENT
REGARDING A CITY MEASURE
WHEREAS, A General Municipal Election is to be held in
the City of Redlands on November 3 , 1987 , at which there will
be submitted to the voters the following measure:
Shall the City of Redlands incur a
general obligation bonded indebtedness
in the principal amount of not to
exceed $7 ,620 ,000 for the acquisition
of park, recreation, and open space
land?
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
does resolve, declare, determine and order as follows:
SECTION ONE: That the City Council authorizes Carole
Beswick, Richard N. Larsen, Charles G. DeMirjyn, Tim Johnson,
and Barbara C. Wormser, members of that body, to file a
written argument against the City measure set forth in the
recitals hereof in accordance with Article 4, Chapter 3 ,
Division 5 of the Elections Code of the State of California
and to change the argument until and including the date fixed
by the City Clerk after which no arguments for or against the
City measure may be submitted to the City Clerk .
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 7th day of July, 1987 .
