IN SAID CITY ON 'rUESDAY, THE STH DAY OF MARCH, 1974, FOR THE ELECTION OF CERTAIN OFFICERS OF SAID CITY AS REQUIRED BY THE PROVISIONS OF THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF CALIFORINIA RELATING TO GENERAL LAW C 1'17-1 ES WHEREAS, under the provisions of the laws relating to General Law Cities in the State of California, a regular general municipal election sha 11 be held on the 5th day of March, 1914, for the election of three mem, ers of the City Council of said City for the full terra of four <,rears; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOO_ L4 LOWS : SECTION I., That p�irsuant to the requirements of the laws of the State of California relating to General Law Cities within said State, there shah be, and there is hereby called and ordered, 'shleld in the City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino, State of Callfo_rnia, on Tuesday, the 5th day of March, 19?4, a regular general- municipal elec­ tion of the qualified electors of said C"ity for the purpose of electing three members of the City Council of said City for the full term of four years . SECTION 2 . That the ballots to be used at said election shall be, both as to form and matter contained therein., such as may be rp-q,,,Aired by law to be used thereat. SECTION 3 . That the City Cleek of said City is hereby authorized, instructed and directed t-o procure and furnish ant, and all official ballots, notices, printed matter and all supplies, equipment and para- phernalia that may be necessary in order to properly and lawfully con- duct said election. SECTION 4,, 1rhat for the purpose of holding said regular general election, there shall be and are hereby established twentv-three voting precincts consisttinq of consolidations of the regular election precincts in the City of Redlands established for the holding of state and county elections, as said regular ele--tion precincts exi:st on the date of adoption of this resolution. That the polling places for the respective precincts shall be the places hereinafter designated and that the persons hereinafter named, being competent- and qualified elec- tors and residents of said City and of their respective voting precincts, are hereby appointed officers of election for their respective voting precincts and they shall hold said election and make return thereof in the manner provided by law.
