HomeMy WebLinkAbout3237_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 3237 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 3225, A RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID CITY" ON TUESDAY, THE 2ND DAY OF MARCH, 1976 WHEREAS, the Redlands School District Measure which appears Oft the City of Redlands Municipal Election ballot will be voted on in adjacent county precincts until the hour of 8:00 P.M. on March 2nd, and WHEREAS, conforming to this schedule in order not to jeopardize the Municipal. Election will necessitate keeping the city polling places open an additional hour, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES HEREBY RESOLVE THAT SEC'T'ION 6 AND SEC'T'ION 7 OF RESOLUTION NO. 3225 STALL BE AMENDED AS FOLLOWS Section 6. That the compensation of the persons hereinabove named as election officers is hereby fined at the sum of Twenty-six Dollars for each Inspector and Twenty-three Dollars for each Judge and Clerk, for said election. The rental for each of such palling places where a charge is made shall be the sum of Fifteen Dollars for said election,. When required, the compensation of the Custodian of a building shall be Eight Dollars .for said election. Section 7. That the polls for said election shall be open at seven o' clock A.M. of the day of said election and shall remain open. continuously from said time until eight o'clock P.M. of the same day, when said polls shall be closed, except as provided in Section 14436 of the Elections Cade of the State of California., ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 17th day of February, 1976.
