A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS, STATE OF
CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE NEW DEVELOPMENT & REDEVELOPMENT
GUIDELINES AS A SUPPLEMENT TO THE DRAINAGE AREA MANAGEMENT
PROGRAM AND THE REPORT OF WASTE DISCHARGE.
WHEREAS, Santa Ana Regional Water Quality Control Board implements regulations
relative to the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System(NPDES) Program and the Clean
Water Act within the Santa Ana River watershed by issuing a NPDES Municipal Stormwater
Permit to 18 municipalities and agencies within the watershed; and
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands is one of the co-permittees of the NPDES Municipal
Stormwater Permit and a member of the NPDES General Committee; and
WHEREAS, the New Development & Redevelopment Guidelines (Guidelines) was
developed and approved by the NPDES General Committee as a requirement of the NPDES
Municipal Stormwater Permit and the Report of Waste Discharge(ROWD), dated April 1995; and
WHEREAS, the Guidelines is to be used by the permittees as a supplement to the Drainage
Area Management Program and the ROWD,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Redlands,
State of California, hereby adopts the New Development & Redevelopment Guidelines as a
Supplement to the Drainage Area Management Program and the Report of Waste Discharge, a
copy of which is attached to this resolution.
