A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ESTABLISHING
A SURCHARGE ON CERTAIN REVENUE ACCOUNTS FOR FUNDING OF THE NPDES
INSPECTOR POSITION FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, Chapter 3.16 of the City of Redlands Municipal Code authorizes the City
Council of the City of Redlands ("this City Council")to levy fees and charges for costs reasonably
borne in providing required City services; and
WHEREAS, this City Council has found and determined that the fees and charges
recommended by the Public Works Department, and the fees and charges established by this
Resolution do not exceed the estimated reasonable costs of providing the required services for
which the fees and charges are imposed; and
WHEREAS, this City Council further has found and determined that the fees and charges
established by this Resolution are reasonable, fair and equitable in nature and proportionately
representative of the costs incurred by the City in providing the required services, and;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDLANDS as follows:
The fees and charges associated with the following revenue accounts be surcharged by
twelve (12) percent:
Account No. Description
01-430 Street Permits
01-636 Street Plan Check Fee
01-420 Building Permits
01-423 Grading and Paving Inspection
01-473 Grading Permit Review
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 3`d day of July, 2001.
