RESOLUTION NO. 2371
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS
"ANNEXATION DISTRICT NO. 20 TO THE CITY OF REDLANDS"
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS:
SAS, on the 7th day of April, 1964, the City Council of the City of Redlands
did pass and adopt Resolution No. 2364 giving notice of the proposal to annex
certain uninhabited territory to the City of Redlands, said territory being there-
in designated as "Annexation No. 201! said resolution describing the boundaries of
the territory proposed to be annexed; and
T9HEREAS, said Resolution No. 2364 did contain a notice of the day, hour and place
when and where the Council of the City would hear protests made by any person owning
property within the territory proposed to be annexed, the time of said hearing being
not more than thirty days from the date of passage of said Resolution; and
WHEREAS, on the 21st day of April, 1964, at the hour of 7:00 P.M. in the Council
Chambers in the Safety Fall of the City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino,
said time and place being the day, hour and place fixed in said Resolution No.
2364 for hearing of protests to the said annexation, the said City Council did
hear and pass upon all protests made to the proposed annexation and did determine
that protests had not been made by the owners of one-half of the value of the
territory proposed to be annexed as shown by the last equalized assessment roll,
nor by public and private owners of one-half of the value of the territory pro-
posed to be annexed as determined by said legislative body; and
WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Redlands, and is uninhabited
territory in the County of San Bernardino;
NOW THEREFORE, the said City Council of the City of Redlands does hereby approve
the annexation hereinafter described to the City of Redlands, and does hereby
further resolve that the said territory be and is hereby annexed to the City of
Redlands.
That said territory, the annexation of which to the City of Redlands is herein
approved, is all that territory situated in the County of San Bernardino, State
of California, more particularly described as follows:

The West z of Government Lot 10, Section 12, Township 2
South Range 3 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian, in
the County of San Bernardino, State of California, accord-
ing to the official plat of said land filed June 9, 1880,
in the office of the Bureau of Land Management. EXCEPTING
THEREFROM that portion commencing on the Southeast cori:er
of said West of Government Lot 10; thence along the East line
of the West North 315, feet; thence Idest parallel with
the South line of said lot .300 feet; thence North parallel
to the East line of the West 2 of said Lot 10, 285 feet;
thence West parallel to the South line of said lot 338 feet,
more or less, to a point in the West line of said Lot,
thence South along said West line 600 feet to the Southwest
corner of said Lot; thence East along South line to the
point of beginning. Approximately 13.17 acres.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this day of 1964.
