OF T'11, WATER DEPARTEENT A! D REPEALING RESOLUTION O. 917 IN ACCORDANCE WITH ORDINANCE
NO. 1043, AS AMENDED BY RESOLUTION NO. 1076.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands that the water rates
and charges effective on or after the lst day of June., 1963, shall be as follows:
SECTION I: Domestic., Commerical and Irrigation Vfater Rates.

SECTION II: Ktnimum Charges. For the purpose of minimum charges as set forth in
Section I., each separate meter connected to the water system shall be considered as a
separate., individual consumer.
SECTION III: Bills shall be computed bi-monthly. For the purpose of determining
monthly consumption as set forth in Section 1-b, monthly consumption shall be considered
as being one-half of bimonthly consumption.
SECTION IV: Miscellaneous Water Usage.
(a) Miscellaneous usage of water and charges for miscellaneous usage of water
shall be determined and authori7,ed by the I-,Tater Superintendent prior to
said usage. The following rates shall apply to miscellaneous usage of water:
(1) For backfilling of ditches, a rate of three cents ($0.03) per lineal
foot of ditch for all ditches less than three (3) feet in depth.
(2) For backfilling of ditches greater than three (3) feet in depth at
a rate to be determined by the Water Superintendent.
(3) For orchard spraying, a rate of $2.50 per rig per day or portion thereof.
SECTION VIT: System Construction Charge. A system construction charge shall
be made for all new service connections unless the main to serve the property was
installed by the party who owned the property at the time. The charge for a single
family residence shall be $105.00. The charges for property other than single
family residences shall be determined by the 1,,!ater Division based on $1.50 per
front foot with lots having more than one frontage side figured as one-half the
sum of all frontage sides.
SECTION VII; Fire and Protective Service Connection.
(a) The monthly rates to be charged for stand-by ser-rice used for fire pro-
tection purposes shall be as follows-.

(b) Stand-by fire service connections shall be installed by the Water Division
in accordance with Section V of this Resolution.
