A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ESTAB-
LISHING PAYMENTS OF ASSESSMENTS WITHIN THE FOUNTAIN AVENUE SEWER
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT.
WH"EAS, there is a "Short Form" Improvement District Act
of 1911, 'set forth in Section 5895 of the Streets and Highways
Code of thc.` State of California, which does permit payment of
assessments \�ncurred under said act in annual installments with
unpaid balanus accruing an interest charge,at not to exceed 80
per annum; and` ,
WHEREAS, the charge to be levied ainst property owners in
the Fountain Avenu Sewer Assessment istrict is $2 , 583. 33 per
lot which amount qu ifies for inst lment repayments ; and
WHEREAS, it is de"ed equit le that such assessments shall
be spread over a periodiot to xceed one year,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE I R SOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Redlands that paym t of assessments against properties
in the Fountain Avenue Se er ssessment District may be made in
no more than two install ents , with unpaid balances of assessment
due subject to interes at the ate of 8% per annum. Interest
will commence to run n and afte the 31st day of the confirma-
tion of the assessme is by this b dy.
BE IT FURTHE RESOLVED that th City Clerk of the City of
Redlands shall c use a certified cop of this resolution to be
delivered to t County Auditor of th County of San Bernardino,
California, if: use in administering c llection of said assess-
ments.
