A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF A CERTAIN STREET
IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does resolve as follows:
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby elects
to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 2, of the
Street and Highways Code of the State of California, and to vacate a por-
tion of a certain street described herein in the manner provided therein.
SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its intention to
order the vacation of a portion of a certain street described as follows:
That portion of 60 foot wide West Avenue in the City of
Redlands, County of San Bernardino, State of California,
lying between Terracina Boulevard (formerly Crescent
Boulevard) and Gravilla Avenue (vacated) as shown on Map
of West Redlands per map recorded in Book 9, page 2 and
as shown on Addition to Terracina No. 1 per map recorded
in Book 6, page 7, records of said County.
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that the vacation
of a portion of the certain street described herein is required by public
interest, convenience, safety and welfare.
SECTION FOUR: A map setting the particulars of the proposed street
vacation shall be on file in the office of the Public Works Department
and available for inspection by persons interested in or objecting to the
proposed vacation.
SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date and
place of the Public Hearing on the street closing at 7:00 P.M. on the 15th
day of March, 1977, in the regular meeting place of the City Council,
Redlands, California.
SECTION SIX: Within fifteen days after its passage, this resolution
shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general
circulation published and circulated in the City of Redlands, California.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 1st day of March, 1977.
