RESOLUTION SETTING HEARING ON ADOPTION OF REDLANDS
ORDINANCE CODE AND ORDERING PUBLICATION OF NOTICE THEREOF
WHEREAS the first reading of a proposed ordinance to adopt the
Redlands Ordinance Code was heretofore had at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Redlands, on the 17th day of
May, 1955 ; reading of said Ordinance Code and of any secondary
codes therein adopted by reference being then and there duly
waived.
THEREFORE the City Council hereby fixes Vu*1444Lthe 7th day of
June, 1955, at the hour of 7:010 o'clock p.m. _T said day, and the
Council Chambers of the Redlands City Hall, Redlands, California ,
as the time and place for a public hearing on said proposed ordi-
nance.
RESOLVED FURTHER that the City Clerk shall cause written notice of
such hearing to be published twice in the Redlands Daily Facts
Newspaper, a newspaper of general circulation published in the City
of Redlands ; once on or before May 23, 1955, and once on or before
May 30, 1955 .
Adopted this 17th day of May,, 1955, by the following vote:
AYES; Councilmen Osbun, Morlan, Romo, Anderson and Mayor Elkins
NOES : None
ABSENT : None

Notice Is hereby given that , on
Tueaday, June 79 1955, at the hour of
7: 00 o 'clock p.m. at the Council Cham-
bers of the Redlands City Hall in the
City of Redlands, Californias the City
Council of the City of Redlands will
conduct a public hearing upon a pro-
posed ordinance to adopt the Redlands
Ordinance Code and certain provisions of
the "Sales and Use Tax Law" ( being a
portion of the Revenue and Taxation Code
of the State of California) in force and
effect on October 1 . 1951, and rules and
regulations of the State Roard of Equal-
Ization pertaining to the interpretation,
administration and enforcement of said
Sales and Use Tax Law, which are incor-
porated in said Ordinance Code by refer-
ence .
Said Redlands Ordinance Code is a
codification of existing ordinances of
the City of Redlands . The purpose of
said Code is to make the provisions of
said ordinances readily available to
City officials and personnel and to the
general public, in the form of a refer-
ence book. Copies of said Code are on
file with the City Clerk, and are open
to nublic insnection .
