A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ESTABLISHING POLICY
REGARDING APPLICATION FOR OUTSIDE WATER AND SEWER CONNECTIONS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does resolve as
follows :
SECTION ONE: In order to apply for an outside water or sewer
connection, applicant must be the owner of the property for which
the service is requested, or be a designated representative of the
applicant.
SECTION TWO: Once the applicant has received approval for
outside water or sewer connection, construction must commence
within six (6) months or the applicant will lose the allocation.
SECTION THREE: In the event construction does not commence
within six (6) months , all fees previously paid will not be
refundable.
SECTION FOUR: If unusual circumstances prevent the start of
construction within six (6) months, the applicant will be required
to submit, in writing, to the City Manager a request for an extension
of time to commence construction together with an explanation of
the circumstances that prevented timely construction .
