HomeMy WebLinkAbout3211_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO, 3211 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ESTABLISH A PARKING AND BUSINESS !MP ROVEMEXT AREA WHEREAS, a majority of the businesses within the area of the City of Redlands shown on Exhibit A attached to this resolution have requested this City Council to establish a Parkinq and Bust- ness improvement Area; and WHEREAS, the Parking and Business Improvement Area Law of 1965 provides for the establishment of such an area,- BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AS FOLLOWS : Section 1: That the City Council intends to establish a Parking and Business Improvement Area in the Ci Section 7i An advisory board not exceeding 7 members shall be established by the City Council, composed of a cross section of those businesses affected by the Business District, to advise the City Council on the use of funds, Section 8: The fiscal year for the proposed Business inprnve. meat District shall be established as january 1 to December 31 and the businesses entering the district during the year shall pay a prorated fee used on 1/12 of the fee per remaining month, Section 9 : The effective date of this Resolution all be JAnuary 1, 1976 Section 10: The City Clerk shall cause a copy of this Resoin, tion of Intention to be published in the Redlands Daily Fact', a newspaper of general circulation in the City, and shall mail a copy, of same to each business in the Area proposed, publication and mailing to be completed at least ten (10) days prior to the time herein set for public hearing, ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 28th day of October, 1975 ,, ATTESTy o or of the city of mac"iands r C-i APPROVED FOR FORM: sl Edward F.
