A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF REDLANDS SETTING THE SPECIAL 'SAX FOR
EMERGENCY PARAMEDIC SERVICE
WHEREAS, Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1900 permits the continuation
of a levy and assessment of a special tax by the City of Redlands on each
improved parcel of property, each residential unit in a multiple dwelling, or each
mobile home site in the City of Redlands; and
WHEREAS, Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1900 empowers the City Council
to establish by resolution an amount necessary to fund anticipated expenses in an
effort to provide an adequate level of paramedic service, but in no event shall the
special tax exceed the maximum allowable limits as set forth in Ordinance No. 1900;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
does hereby resolve that the special tax for emergency paramedic service shall be
as follows for the fiscal year 1987-88 only:
Multi-family and Mobile Home Units 29.00
Single Family 39.00
(Including condominiums)
Commercial and Industrial:
0 - • 4;999 sq.ft. 39.00
5,000 - 9,999 sq.ft. 78.00
10,000 - 19,999 sq.ft. 117.00
20,000 - 39,999 sq.ft. 156.00
Greater than 39,999 sq.ft. = $156,00 plus $39.00 for each
20,000 sq.ft. increment of floor area, or portion thereof, in
excess of 39,999 sq.ft.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 21st day of July, 1987.
