A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS INITIATING
PROCEEDINGS FOR THE REVERSION OF ACREAGE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
DESIGNATED AS COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NOS. 0167-
511-17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23

WHEREAS, pursuant to section 17.19.020 of the Redlands Municipal Code, McShane
Corporation has submitted an application ("Petition") to the City of Redlands to request the
reversion of acreage of ten (10) contiguous parcels of real property (the "Property") designated
as Assessor's Parcel Nos. 0167-511-17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 and 0167-481-10, 14, and 15,
generally located north of Lugonia Avenue, south of Almond Avenue, and east of Research Drive,
and
WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed the Petition and determined that it contains the
information required by section 17.19.030 of the Redlands Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council of the City of Redlands to initiate
proceedings to revert the Property to acreage in accordance with Chapter 17.19 of the Redlands
Municipal Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF REDLANDS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The parcel map required for the reversion of acreage of the Property, together
with all data required by Chapter 17.19 of the Redlands Municipal Code, shall be submitted to
the City Engineer for review. Upon finding that the Petition and the parcel map satisfy the
requirements of Chapter 17.19 and the State Subdivision Map Act, the City Engineer shall
submit the parcel map, together with a report and recommendation, to the City Council for
consideration. The City Council may approve, deny, or conditionally approve the parcel map to
revert the Property to acreage.
Section 2. A public hearing shall be held by the City Council to consider the Petition and
parcel map which shall be scheduled for the January 21, 2014 regular meeting of the City
Council. The City Engineer shall cause notice of the public hearing to be given as required by
section 17.07.070A of the Redlands Municipal Code.
