damage by reason of the eEtablishment of 5aid pedeEtrian mail may
file a written claim for damages with said City Clerk at any time
not later than the houx so fixed for hearing. Any such written r1aim
must describe the xeal property as to which the claim is made, must-
state thn exact nature of the claimant ' s interest therein, must staw,
the nature of the claimed damage thereto, andmust atate the amount
of damages claimed,
Section U. That the City Clerk shall cause this resclution
to be published pursuant to Section 6G66 of the Government Code cnce
a week for two successive weeks in the Redlands Daily Facts , a news-
paper of general circulation published within said city, the firgt

publication to be made not less than ninety (90) days prior to the
date fixed herein for hearing.
Section 12 . That the said City Clerk is hereby directed to mail
a copy of this resolution, postage prepaid, not less than ninety (90)
days prior to the date set for hearing, to each of the follcwing
persons:
(a) Each person to whom a parcel of land abutting upon any por-
tion of said pedestrian mall or any portion of any intersecting
street (as hereinbefore described) is assessed as shown on the last
equalized assessment roll, at his address as shown upon said roll;
(b) Each person to whom a parcel of land within the assessment
district described in Section 7 hereof is assessed as shown on said
roll, at his address as shown upon said roll; and
(c) Any person, %tether owner in fee or having a lien upon, or
legal or equitable interest in, any of the parcels of land described
in (a) and (b) above, whose name and address and a designation of
the land in Which he is interested is on file in the office of said
City Clerk.
Section 12 . That the Supirintendent of Streets of this City is
her by directed to cause copies of this resolution headed "Notice
of Intention to Establish a Pedestrian Mall" in letters at least
one-half in in heiqht to be posted not more than 300 feet apart
on all streets or portions thereof which are proposed to be estab-
lished as said pedestrian mall, on all intersecting streets as here-
inbefore defined, and upon all open streers within the assessment
district described in Section 7 hereof. Such copies shail be posted
not less than ninety (90) days prior to the date set for hearing.
