A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS RESCINDING SECTION 3 OF
RULE I-B OF RESOLUTION NO. 2032 ENTITLED "PERSONNEL RULES AND
REGULATIONS" OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AND ADDING A NEW SECTION 3
IN THE PLACE THEREOF.
WHEREAS, the City Council is authorized and directed under
the provisions of Ordinance No. 1089 to adopt rules and regulations
for the administration of the personnel system,
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED:
THAT the City Council of the City of Redlands does hereby
rescind Section 3 of Rule I-B of the Personnel Rules and Regulations
and that the following insertion shall be made a permanent part of
Resolution No. 2032 .
THAT Section 3 of Rule I--B entitled "Anniversary Date" shall
read as follows:
"Anniversary Date: " The 16th of the month in which
the employee completes 6 months of employment . Under
normal circumstances, when an employee receives a
promotion, the promotion date will become the new
anniversary date for the employee. All promotions
are to be made effective on the 16th of a month.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 2nd day of October 1962 .
