A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ADDING A NEW PARAGRAPH TO SECTION
3, RULE X, AND ALSO ADDING SECTION 3 TO RULE XVI OF RESOLUTION 2832,
KNOWN AS "PERSONNEL RULES AND REGULATIONS."
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redlands has
considered administrative recommendations and all available data;
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVEDs
THAT the City Council of the City of Redlands hereby
amends Resolution 2032 by adding Section 3 to Rule X of "Personnel
Rules and Regulations" to read as follows
SECTION 3. Maternity Leave of Absence: A permanent
employee may request a Leave of Absence for maternity reasons, granted
under and in accordance with Section 5 of Rule X of the Personnel Rules
and Regulations. No sick leave will be granted for maternity reasons,
and no employee may return to work until satisfactory doctor ' s clear-
ance has been presented to the appropriate Department Heade
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED%
THAT Section 3 is hereby added to Rule XVI to read as
follows:
SECTION 3 . Accident involving City Property, egui RMent,
or Rersonal ini!j Statements concerning accidents involving City
property, equipment, or personal injury to anyone except assigned
Police personnel are expressly .forbidden, unless authorized by the
City Manager.
ADOPTED, SIGNED ANIS APPROVED this 20th day of February , 1962.
