RESOLUTION NO. 2341
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FOR ADOPTION
OF AMENDMENT NO, 1 TO PRECISE STREET PLAN NO, 1
WHEREAS the Planning Commission of the City of Redlands has pre-
pared an amendment to the Precise Street Plan and adopted such amend-
ment in Resolution R.P.C. No. 209 after holding a public hearing upon
notice in accordance with the Government Code of the State of
California; and
WHEREAS Resolution No. 209, a copy of which is attached hereto,
has been certified to the City Council of the City of Redlands ; and
WHEREAS on the _ day of _.s 1963, notice of Public
Hearing was published in the Redlands Daily Facts ; and
WHEREAS on this � { R
day of �I � , 1963, the City Council
has held a duly advertised public hearing concerned with the proposed
amendment to said Precise Street Plan; and
WHEREAS following said Public Hearing the City Council dec 'Lares
that the proposed amendment is in the interest of the public health,
safety, and general welfare ; and
WHEREAS all of the provisions of the Government Code relating
to the amendment of aprecise plan have been complied with
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Redlands ;
That amendment to the Precise Street Plan adopted by the Planning
Commission in Resolution No. 209 shall be adopted as follows .
AMENDMENT TO PRECISE STREET PLAN NO, 1
1e That it is deemed advisable and in the interest of public
health, safety and general welfare to realign, vacate and
extend certain public streets in the area bounded by Fifth
Avenues Somers Street, Citrus Avenue, Lincoln Street and
Redlands Street as recommended from studies preformed
jointly by the Department of Public Works and the Planning
Department .
29 Amendment to Precise Street Plan is as follows :
a, Realign Highland Avenue into Fifth Aver nue
bo Adjust intersections of Highland Avenue to provide
right angle intersections with Ford Street and Ford
Street extended,
o Chan-~es in General P 1 an
a. Change designation of Highland Avenue between. Ford
Street extended and Lincoln Street from a secondary
highway to a collector street ,
b, Realign Highland Avenue to connect to Fifth Avenue
between Grove Street and Fari ew Lane as a secondary
3 Changes in General Plan (continued)
b. hIghway.
c. Designate Grove Street as a collector street between
Citrus Avenue and Highland Avenue.
d. Designate Fifth Avenue as a collector street
between Ford Street and Farview Lane.
