A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDLANDS PROCLAIMING MAY, 1984 , AS EMERGENCY
PREPAREDNESS MONTH
WHEREAS , the City of Redlands has fully recognized its respon-
sibility to provide emergency services to the community in times of
natural or man-made disaster; and
WHEREAS, to prepare for such disasters a comprehensive and com-
plete Emergency Plan has been developed; and
WHEREAS, the Emergency Plan will be tested and evaluated during
a large scale disaster drill during the month of May; and
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands and its resources pledge to stand
ready to aid our citizens in times of emergency;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Redlands that May, 1984, is hereby proclaimed as:
EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS MONTH
IN THE
CITY OF REDLANDS
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this lst day of May, 1984 .
