A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AUTHORIZING
A SUBSTITUTION OF TRUSTEE AND FULL RECONVEYANCE TO JENNIFER
VANNATTER AND CANCELLATION OF THE PROMISSORY NOTE WITH SUNSET
FUNERAL CARE, LLC ASSOCIATED WITH THE MICROENTERPRISE ASSISTANCE
PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City entered into an Agreement and executed a Promissory Note with
Sunset Funeral Care, LLC to enable expansion of an existing business in the City and to create
employment opportunities for low- and moderate-income persons; and
WHEREAS, the City provided financial assistance in the amount of $24,945.60 from
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to Sunset Funeral Care, LLC; and
WHEREAS, Sunset Funeral Care, LLC has provided satisfactory evidence to the City
that one new full-tune job was created and filled by a low- to moderate-income person for a
period of one (1) year and that by this action has complied with the provisions of the Agreement
and the Promissory Note;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands as
follows:
Section 1. The facts set forth above in this Resolution are true and correct.
Section 2. The attached Substitution of Trustee and Full Recnoveyance and
Cancellation of the Promissory Note is approved.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect upon the date of its adoption.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 20th day of October, 2015.
