A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FINDING THAT A PARCEL
OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY IS UNNECESSARY FOR PRESENT OR PROS-
PECTIVE PURPOSES AND ORDERING THE QUITCLAIM DEED OF SAID
PROPERTY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS hereby
ordains and resolves as follows :
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of
Redlands hereby finds from all the evidence submitted
that the property described in this resolution is un-
necessary for present or prospective purposes and that
the public interest and convenience is served by its
conveyance.
SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby authorize
the conveyance by Quitclaim Deed to the Colton Avenue Water
Company of the real property in the City of Redlands ,
County of San Bernardino, State of California, described
as follows :
A portion of lot 25 of the southeast quarter of
Barton Rancho commencing at northeast corner of said
southeast quarter on center line New York Street thence
along north line of said southeast quarter south 89
degrees 49 minutes 52 seconds west 32 feet to true
point of beginning thence continuing along said line
south 89 degrees 49 minutes 52 seconds west 40 feet
thence south 0 degrees 43 minutes 15 seconds east
40 feet thence North 89 degrees 49 minutes 52 seconds
east 40 feet thence North 0 degrees 43 minutes 15
seconds west 40 feet to point of beginning.
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines
that the conveyance of the property described herein is
required by public interest , convenience , safety and
welfare.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this fifth day- of
October, 1965.
