A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DECLARING
THAT CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IS NO LONGER REQUIRED FOR PUBLIC USE,
AND ORDERING SALE OF SAID PROPERTY
The City Council of the City of Redlands ordains and resolves
as follows:
SECTION ONE: That the City Council of the City of Redlands
hereby finds and determines that certain real property owned by
said City is no longer required for public use, which said property
is more particularly described as follows :
Lots 15 and 28 of the Sierra Vista Tract, as per plat
recorded in Book 37 of Maps , Page 104 , records of San
Bernardino County.
SECTION TWO: That pursuant to said finding and determination,
the City Council shall hear and pass upon all protests to the pro-
posed sale in the Council Chambers at the hour of 7 : 00 P.M. on
May 15, 1979.
SECTION THREE: That the City Clerk shall cause notice of this
resolution to be published at least once prior to said sale in the
Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation published
in the City of Redlands , County of San Bernardino.

SUBJECT: Surplus lots; Lots 15 & 28 of Tract No. 2681.
The subject lots were deeded to the City on September
19, 1950. The lots have been used as a temporary street
to provide circulation between Lombard Drive and oxford
Drive. Adjacent Tract No. 9801 to the north has been
recorded and the cul-de-sacs terminating the two streets
comple.ted,
The two lots now serve no purpose and constitute some-
what of a nuisance to the neighborhood, (i.e. ) parked
cars{
rs, raQinq, etc.. One neighbor, Marshall Hughes, has
requested that
t curbs be installed in front of the lots
to stop traffic circtilation.
Recormend the lots be offered for bid. Copy of deed
and map attached indicating the lots to be disposed of .
