A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DECLARING THAT
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IS NO LONGER REQUIRED FOR PUBLIC USE AND ORDERING
SALE OF SAID PROPERTY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ordains and resolves as
follows:
SECTION ONE: That the City Council of the City of Redlands hereby
finds and determines that certain real property owned by said City is
no longer required for public use, which said property is more parti-
cularly described as follows:
That portion of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 10, Township 2
South, Range 3 West, San Bernardino Meridian, in the County
of San Bernardino, State of California, according to the
official plat thereof, described as follows:
BEGINNING at the Southeasterly corner of that certain tract
of land conveyed by Dennis Mulvihill and wife to Albert K.
Smiley by deed dated March 25, 1909, and recorded April 3,
1909, in Book 434 , Page 139, Deeds; thence North '61° 5 ' West
along the Southwesterly line of said Albert K. Smiley tract
of land 149. 18 feet; thence South 9010 ' East 150. 54 feet,
more or less, to the middle of Alessandro Road; thence South
following the center line of Alessandro Road, to the point
of beginning.
SECTION TWO: That the City of Redlands Department of Public Works
be directed to sell said property, after making the necessary public
notifications of said sale, to the highest bidder.
SECTION THREE: That pursuant to said finding and determination,
the City Council shall hear and pass upon all protests to the proposed
sale in the Council Chambers at the hour of 7 : 00 P.M. , April 1 , 1980 .
SECTION FOUR: That the City Clerk shall cause notice of this
resolution to be published at least once prior to said sale in the
Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation published in
the City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 4th day of March, 1980.
