A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DECLARING THAT
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IS NO LONGER REQUIRED FOR PUBLIC USE, AND ORDER-
ING SALE OF SAID PROPERTY
The City Council of the City of Redlands ordains and resolves as
follows :
SECTION ONE: That the City Council of the City of Redlands here-
by finds and determines that certain real property owned by said City
is no longer required for public use, which said property is more par-
ticularly described as follows :
All of Lot 17 of Olive Avenue Tract as recorded in Book 15 of Maps,
Page 47 in the office of the County Recorder, County of San Bernardino,
State of California, excluding that portion described as follows :
Beginning at the intersection of the Southwesterly right-of-way line
of San Mateo Street (60 feet wide) with the Southeasterly line of
said Lot 17; thence Southwesterly along last said line to its inter-
section with a line parallel with and 40.00 feet (measured at right
angles) Southwesterly of the centerline of said San Mateo Street;
thence Northwesterly along last said parallel line 143 .00 feet to the
beginning of a tangent curve concave Southerly and having a radius of
7.00 feet; thence Northwesterly along said curve through a central
angle of 90' 00 , 0011, 11.00 feet to a point of tangency with the South-
easterly right-of-way line of Olive Avenue (100 feet wide) ; thence
Northeasterly along last said line to its intersection with said
Southwesterly right-of-way line of San Mateo Street; thence South-
easterly along last said line to the Point of Beginning.
SECTION TWO: That pursuant to said finding and determination,
the City Council shall hear and pass upon all protests to the proposed
sale in the Council Chambers at the hour of 7:00 P.m. , January 4,
1977.
SECTION THREE: That the City Clerk shall cause notice of this
resolution to be published at least once prior to said sale in the
Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation published in
the City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 21st day of December, 1976.
