A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DECLARING
THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY IS SURPLUS AND IS NOT REQUIRED FOR PUBLIC USE
AND ORDERING THE SALE OF SAID PROPERTY.
The City Council of the City of Redlands does resolve as
follows:
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby
finds and declares that certain property owned by the City is
surplus and is not required for public use and is more particularly
described as follows :
That portion of Cliff Drive (also known as Sunset Drive) in
the Southeast 1/4 of Section 3, Township 2, South, Range 3 nest,
San Bernardino Base & Meridian, lying Southerly of that certain
right of way granted to the City of Redlands on June 18, 1954 and
recorded in Book 3405, Page 531, Official Records of San Bernardino
County, said Cliff Drive being shown by County Surveyor ' s Map No.
1513 on file in the County Surveyor ' s Office of the County of San
Bernardino.
SECTION TWO : That the City of Redlands Department of
Community Services be directed to sell said property to the highest
bidder , after establishing a minimum bid based on an informal
appraisal, and after making the necessary public notifications of
said sale.
SECTION THREE: That the Mayor and the City Clerk of the City
of Redlands, upon completion of the sale, be authorized to execute
a grant deed on behalf of the City of Redlands for sale of said
property.
