ORDINANCE NOT 1065
AM' ORDINANCE. CONCERNING THE =TOW AND SALZ OF UNCLAIMED PROPERTY
IN THE POSSESS.ION OF THE. CITY OF REDIANDfi POLICE DEPARTMENT.
The Of Council of tho City of Redlands does ordain
as follows:
SECTION I. An ordinance is hereby adopted to provide
far tha carve restitution, sale or destruction of unclaimed prop-
erty in the possession of the Police Daparrmant of the City of
Redlands.
SE.OTION 2. All unolaimod proparty in th...e. possession of
the Ponca Department shall be held by the Dapartmant for a period
of at least aix mon-ths.
SE.OTION 3, After being in the possession of the Police
Department for at least six months, the unelaimed property shall
'be sold at public aubtion to the highest biddor.
SECTION 4. :Notice of the sale of unclaimed property'.
ohall be given by the Chief of Police at least fiva dayB before
the time fixed therefor by publication once ib, a newspaper of
general circulation published in the City of Redlands and the
0 .'.1.7mty of San Bornardine.
SECTION 5. gfIaotiva date: This ordinance shall be in
farce and, take effect as provided by law.
SECTION 6. The tlity shall certify to. the adoption
of this ordinance and cause the same to be published once in tho
Radlonds Deily Facts, a newspaper of general eiroulaion. T inted
