A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDLANDS ACCEPTING THE AD VALOREM TAX APPORTION-
MENT FROM THE SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS IN CONNECTION WITH ANNEXATION NO. 56
WHEREAS, Section 99 of the Revenue and Taxation Code provides
that no annexation shall become effective until each governmental
entity whose service areas or service reponsibilities would be
altered by such jurisdictional change agrees, by resolution, to
accept the negotiated exchange of property tax revenues; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redlands, after a
public hearing on May 20 , 1980, did adopt Resolution No. 3679
approving Annexation No. 56, LAFC 1953 , to the City of Redlands;
and
WHEREAS, the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors, on
May 19, 1980, did adopt Resolution No. 80-135 approving and
accepting the negotiated exchange of property tax revenue with
the City of Redlands for Annexation No. 56, LAFC 1953, in the
amount of $1, 779. 00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Redlands:
1. That the amount established by San Bernardino County
Board of Supervisors ' Resolution No. 80-135, shown on
Exhibit A attached hereto, as the ad valorem tax
apportionment in connection with Annexation No. 56 ,
is hereby approved.
2 . That the Local Agency Formation Commission be notified
of the acceptance of this sum.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 17th day of June, 1980.
