AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE STREET SAFETY ORDINANCE OF THE CITY CF
REDLANDS BY AMENDING CHAPTER 7.10, ARTICLE 7.100 OF THE REDLANDS
ORDINANCE CODE.
The City Council of the City of Redlands does ordain as
follows:
SECTION ONE: Article 7.100 of Chapter 7.10 is hereby
amended by adding section 7.1009.2 to read as follows:
Section 7.1009.2 "SIDEWALK" is that portion of a
highway, other than the roadway, set apart for pedes-
trian travel, and includes a park or parking strip
maintained in. the area between the property line and
the street line and also includes curbing, bulkheads,
retaining walls or other works for the protection of
any sidewalk or of any such park or parking strip.
SECTION TWO: This ordinance shall be in force and take
effect as provided by law.
SECTION THREE: The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and cause the same to be published
once in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circula-
tion printed and published in this Cit'
