A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FIXING THE RATE AND
LEVYING THE PROPERTY TAX FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1965 - 1966
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION ONE: There is hereby levied upon all taxable property in the
City of Redlands , California , except those portions included in Annexa-
tions Nos . 4, 5 , 6 , 7 , 9 , 11 , 12 , 13 , 15 , 16 , 17 , 18 , 19 , 22 , 23 and 24
so called, for the fiscal year 1965-66 , a property tax of One Dollar and
Eighty-eight Cents ($1 . 88) on each One Hundred Dollars ($ 100. 00) of the
assessed value of such property apportioned as follows :
Eighty-nine and one-half Cents) $ . 895 for the General Fund
Forty-two Cents } . 42 for Park Fund
Five Cents } . 05 for Recreation Fund
Twenty-four Cents } . 24 for Library Fund
Twenty-five and one-half Cents) . 255 for Retirement Fund
Two Cents } . 02 for Redemption and. Interest
of Redlands City Water Bonds
SECTION TWO: There is hereby levied upon all taxable property in those
portions of the City of Redlands , California, known as Annexations Nos.
4 , 5 , 6 , 7, 9, 11 , 12 , 13, 15, 16 , 17 , 18 , 19 , 22 , 23 and 24 , part or
portion thereof, for said fiscal year 1965-66 , a property tax of One Dol-
lar and Eighty- six Cents ($1 . 86) on each One Hundred Dollars ($ 100. 00
of the assessed value of such property apportioned as follows :
Eighty--nine and one-half Cents) $ . 895 for the General Fund
Forty-two Cents . 42 for Park Fund
Five Cents . 05 for Recreation Fund
Twenty-four Cents } . 24 for Library Fund
Twenty-five and one-half Cents} . 255 for Retirement Fund
SECTION THREE: It is hereby found and declared and determined that this
Resolution is urgently required for the peace , health and safety in that
it is necessary to levy a valid tax for the purpose aforesaid, and with-
out which there will be no revenue or funds to defray the expenses of
said City, and this Resolution will take effect and be in force immedi-
ately after its passage and approval .
SECTION FOUR: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Reso-
lution and shall cause same to be published once in the Redlands Daily
Facts .

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted at a
.regular meeting of the City Council held on the 17th day of August , 1965 ,
by the following vote :
AYES : Councilmen Wagner, Hartzell , Cummings , Mayor Burroughs
NOES : None
ABSENT: Councilman. Martinez
