A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FIXING THE
RATE AND LEVYING THE PROPERTY TAX FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR 1968 -- 1969
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION ONE: There is hereby levied upon all taxable property in
the City of Redlands, California for the fiscal year 1968-69 a property
tax of One Dollar and Ninety-four and one-half Cents ($1. 945) on each
One Hundred Dollars ($100. 00) of the assessed value of such property
apportioned as follows :
Eighty-nine and one-half cents) $ .8950 for General Fund
Thirty-nine and one-half cents) . 3950 for Park Fund
Eight cents ) .0800 for Recreation Fund
Twenty-five and one-half cents) . 2550 for Library Fund
Thirty-two cents ) . 3200 for Retirement Fund
SECTION TWO: It is hereby found and declared and determined that
this Resolution is urgently required for the peace, health and safety
in that it is necessary to levy a valid tax for the purpose aforesaid,
and without which there will be no revenue or funds to defray the
expenses of said City, and this Resolution will take effect and be- in
force immediately after its passage and approval.
SECTION THREE: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this Resolution and shall cause same to be published once in the
Redlands Daily Facts .
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 20th day of August, 1968.

regular meeting of the City Council held on the 20th day of August,
1968, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Martinez, DeMirjyn, Mayor Burroughs
NOES : None
ABSENT: Councilmen Cummings, Knudsen
