A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FIXING THE
RATE AND LEVYING THE PROPERTY TAX FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR 1969 - 1970
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: There is hereby levied upon all taxable property in
the City of Redlands, California for the fiscal year 1969-70 a property
tax of Two Dollars and one-half Cent ($2. 005) on each one Hundred Dollars
($100.00) of the assessed value of such property apportioned as follows :
Ninety-four cents $ . 9400 for General Fund
Thirty-nine and one-half cents) $ . 3950 for Park Fund
Eight cents $ .0800 for Recreation Fund
Twenty-six $ . 2600 for Library Fund
Thirty-three $ . 3300 for Retirement Fund
SECTION TWO: It is hereby found and declared and determined that
this Resolution is urgently required for the peace, health and safety
in that it is necessary to levy a valid tax for the purpose aforesaid,
and without which there will be no revenue or funds to defray the
expenses of said City, and this Resolution will take effect and be in
force immediately after its passage and approval.
SECTION THREE: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this Resolution and shall cause same to be published once in the
Redlands Daily Facts .
ADOPTED SIGNED AND APPROVED this 19th day of August, 1969.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted at a
regular meeting of the City Council held on the 19th day of August,
1969, by the following vote:
AYES. Councilmen Cummings , DeTAirjyn, Vice Mayor Martinez
NOES : None
ABSENT. Councilman Knudsen, Mayor Burroughs
