AN ORDIDIANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DECLARING AND ESTABLISHING A PRIMA FACIE
SPEED LIMIT OF 10 MILES PER HOUR ALONG ALL ALLEYS WITHIN THE CCRPCRATE LIMITS
OF SaA D CITY.
The City Council of the City of Redlands does ordain as follows:
SECTION ONE: The word ALLEY shall mean a public or private way, at
the rear or side of property, used as a means of secondary vehicular access to
abutting property, and having a right of way not more than 20 feet in width,
SECTION TWO: That in order to facilitate the orderly movement of
traffic and to promote public safety and welfare, it is hereby determined and
declared that a speed limit of 10 miles per hour shall be in force and effect
upon and along all alleys located within the incorporated city limits of the
City of Redlands,
SECTION THREE: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in the Redlands Daily
Facts, the newspaper hereby designated for that purpose.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance was duly adopted by the
City Council of the City of Redlands, at a regular meeting thereof held on the
6th day of November , 1956, by the following vote, to wit:
AXES.: Councilmen Parker, Hooper, Romo, and Mayor pro-tem Wilson
NOES: None
ABSENT: Mayor Lamm
