A7 a,DINANCE, CCFVEYING BY DEED TO ADJACENT CIMF,RS THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF
AEDS T PORTION OF UNIVERSITY STREET.
The City Council of the City of Redlands does ordain as follows:
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands doe a hereby declare
that, in accordance with Division 5, Part I, Chapter 3 of the Streets and Highways
Code af the State of California, a portion of a street has been vacated, to Wit:
CCNENCING at the centerline intersection of University Street (former
called East Street) and Colton Avenue, as said intersection is shown on
the Map of Lugonia Heights as per plat recorded in Book 8 of Maps, Page
12 thereof, records of said County; thence South 0°121 East 40.00 feet to
a point on the South line of the, now existing Colton Avenue, said point
being the true point of beginning; thence from the true point of begin-
ning South 89° 381 West 30.00 foot along the South line of said Colton
Avenue to a point on the West line of vacated University Street; thence
along said West line, South 0° 12/ East 98.07 feet to a point on. the
Northeast line of the now existing University Street; thence along said
Northeast line South 37° 00/ East 100.16 feet to a point on the Eaot
line of vacated University Street; thence along said line, North 0° 121
West 178.1alfeet to a point on the aforesaid South line of Colton Ave-
nue; thence along said line South 8.9° 38/ -Jest 30.00 feet to the true
point of beginning.
SECTION TWO: The herein described portion of University Street was va-
cated as provided in the Streets and Highways Code, for the purpose of opening a
new street in lieu of that vacated, namely, University Street as relocated and
pxsent1y hown on the official City map.
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby declares its intention to convey
by deed the Cityls interest in the street vacated, to wit, University Street, to
the crweer of the land adjacent to, and fronting upon the street vacated, said
rner the University of Redlands.
SECTION FOUR: The portion of the vacated. street conveyed to the Univer-
sity of Redlands is described in the copy of the deed attached hereto and incor-
porated as a prt of this ordinance.
SECTION FIVE: The deed. conveying said property to the University ef Red-
lands shall be executed in the name of the City of Redlands by the Mayer , the
City. Manager and the City Slork shall attest thereto.
SECTIg SIX: EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall take effect 30
Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in the
City of Redlands, California.

I hereby certify that the foregoing ordinance was adopted by the City
Council of the City of Redlands, at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 17th
