AMENDMENT NO. 1
TEMPLATE AGREEMENT FOR THE INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF SECURE BALLOT DROP
BOXES
IT IS HEREBY AGREED AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, August 25, 2020 (Item No. 60), the Board of Supervisors approved Contract Templates for the
installation and maintenance of Secure Ballot Drop Boxes, and;
WHEREAS, the County desires to install wireless cameras at its ballot drop box locations across the county to
support election security; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the County and Contractor mutually agree to the following:
1. The above listed recitals are incorporated into the Contract and the Parties represent that they are true and
correct.
2. Section D. COUNTY RESPONSIBILITIES is amended to add section 0.8 as follows:
D.8 To install and maintain wireless cameras in a County -identified area at each Registrar of Voters'
drop -box location across the county. The specifications of the wireless camera shall be at the
discretion of the County. Maintenance is defined as ensuring operability of the camera. Removal

and/or reinstallation of the camera shall be at the County's discretion. To maintain the area
adjacent to the box by keeping the area in good condition and conduct regular inspections at least
once a day during business hours during voting periods and performing routine maintenance of
the area to ensure the camera has line of sight to the ballot drop box
3. Section J., ELECTRONIC SIGNATURES is added to read as follows:
J. ELECTRONIC SIGNATURES
This Contract may be executed in any number of counterparts, each of which so executed shall
be deemed to be an original, and such counterparts shall together constitute one and the same
Contract. The parties shall be entitled to sign and transmit an electronic signature of this Contract
(whether by facsimile, PDF or other email transmission), which signature shall be binding on the
party whose name is contained therein. Each party providing an electronic signature agrees to
promptly execute and deliver to the other party an original signed Contract upon request.
4. All other terms and conditions of the contract remain in full force and effect.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, San Bernardino County and the Contractor have each caused this Amendment to
be subscribed by its respective duly authorized officers, on its behalf.
