Home My WebLink About3318_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 3318 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS , PROTESTING AGRICULTURAL PRESERVE CONTRACTS WITHIN THE COUNTY WHEREAS,- the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors is considering approval of agricultural preserves and Williamson Act contracts in the county; and WHEREAS, Government Code Sections 51243 and 51243 . 5 provide an option to the city if the city files a protest and the Local Agency Formation Commission upholds the protest, to succeed or not to succeed to all rights, duties , and powers of the county under contracts on property located within one mile of the city. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Redlands protests and requests the Local Agency Formation Commission to uphold its protest to the county's establishment of agricultural preserves and the signing of agricultural preserve contracts for the following parcels as listed on Exhibit "A" .
