A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
EXPRESSING FINDINGS THAT THE PUBLIC NUISANCE OF A SUBSTANDARD
HOUSE AND GARAGE WAS ABATED AS A PUBLIC NUISANCE AT THE
CITY' S EXPENSE ASM THEREFORE THE COSTS ARE TO BE RECOVERED
FROM THE OWNER OF THE PROPERTY OR IF NOT PAID, ASSESSED AS A
LIEN AGAINST THE PROPERTY
1,77-113REAS, the dwelling and garage located at 1070 East
San Bernardino Avenue were condemned as substandard buildings
and a ;public nuisance because of its unmain't--ained, derelict
condition; and

REA-, the owner did not respond to the condemnation
order to abate the public nuisance nor did the owners appeal
the condemnation order, the City then proceeded to abate the
public nuisance be demolition and in so doing incurred a
total processing and demolition expense of 92,262.24;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF IEE CITY Or REDLANDS
hereby resolves as follows:
1. The cost of abating the public nuisance shall be

against the property from which the public nuisance
was abated and is herein described:

2 . The balance of the assessment remaining unpaid
after 30 days from the date of recording on the
assessment roll shall become delinquent and shall
bear interest at the rate of 7 percent per annum
from an aftersaid date.
3. Said special assessment and lien ordered by this
resolution shall not be contested in any action or
proceedings unless the same is commended within 30
days after the assessment is placed on the assess
went rolls as -provided by this resolution. Any
appeal from a final judgement or proceeding must be
perfected within 30 days after entry of such
judgement.

1986.
