RESOLUTION NO. 2734
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A RIGHT OF ENTRY LICENSE WITH
THE ATCHISON, TOPEKA AND SANTA FE RAILWAY COMPANY
The City Council of the City of Redlands does resolve as
follows :
WHEREAS the City of Redlands and Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe
Railway Company has previously entered into an agreement regard-
ing installation of crossing protection at the crossing of
Alabama Street with the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway
Company line, known as Crossing No. 2U-7.3; and
WHEREAS it is necessary that Alabama Street be widened in con-
junction with the installation of protective devices ; and
WHEREAS there are two portions of Santa Fe's right-of-way
which will be required by the city in connection with the
widening of Alabama Street at said crossing;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That the City Council of the City of Redlands does hereby
approve of the Right of Entry License with the Atchison,
Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company, and
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to
sign this License in behalf of the City Council.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 18th day of February ,
1969.
