A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS CONCERNING AGREEMENT
WITH THE ATCHISON, TOPEKA AND SANTA FE RAILWAY COMPANY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE 'CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS :
WW-REAS, the intersection of Church Street with the
Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway company, known as cross-
ing No. 2U-9.3, constitutes a hazard to the motoring public
and the railway company; and
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands desires to minimize this
hazard by widening this intersection; and
WMREAS the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company
has agreed with the City of Redlands in the widening of the
Church Street grade crossing No. 2U-9.3 as authorized by General
Order No. 88 of the Public Utilities Commission;
NOW, TIFEREFORE, BE '1'r RESOLVED-
1. That the city Council of the City of Redlands
does hereby approve the agreement between the Atchison Topeka
and Santa Fe Railway Company and the City of Redlands, specifi-
cally tne widening of the Church Street grade crossing No.
2U-9.3 and the cost apportionment for this widening, and
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby author-
ized to sign this agreement an behalf of the City Council.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this _18_th day of June
1968.
