A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
CONCERNING AGREEMENT WITH THE ATCHISON,
TOPEKA AND SANTA FE RAILWAY COMPANY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the intersection of Grove Street with the
Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company, known as Crossing
No. 2U-10.1., constitutes a hazard to the motoring public and the
railway company; and
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands desires to minimize this
hazard; and
WHEREAS, the Atchison, Topeka and Santa. Fe Railway Com-
pany has offered to install crossing protection;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That the City Council of the City of Redlands does
hereby approve the agreement between the Atchison, Topeka and
Santa Fe Railway Company and the City of Redlands, specifically
the protection to be provided and the cost apportionment for this
installation, and
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to sign this agreement in behalf of the City Council.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 2nd day of August
1966 .
