A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS CONCERNING
AGREEMENT WITH THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS :
WHEREAS, the intersection of Grove Street with the
Southern Pacific Company, known as Crossing No. BP-549. 2, con-
stitutes a hazard to the motoring public and the railway com-
pany; and
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands desires to minimize this
hazard; and
WHEREAS, the Southern Pacific Company has offered to
install crossing protection;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1 . That the City Council of the City of Redlands does
hereby approve the agreement between the Southern Pacific Com-
pany and the City of Redlands, specifically the protection to
be provided and the cost apportionment for this installation,
and
2 . That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to sign this agreement on behalf of the City Council .
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 29th day of July
1966.
