A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ,
PROVIDING CROSSING PROTECTION AT THE INTERSECTION OF THE
ATCHISON, TOPEKA AND SANTA FE RAILROAD AND LINCOLN STREET
CROSSING NO. 2U-10. 6
WHEREAS, the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company
desires to install crossing protection at the intersection
of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad and Lincoln
Street crossing no. 2U-10. 6, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redlands desires
to provide for the safety and welfare of the motoring public,
and
WHEREAS , the crossing protection proposed would accomplish
the mutual objective of the Railroad and the City,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City
of Redlands hereby approved the agreement prepared by the
Santa Fe Railway Company to accomplish this objective, and
the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign said
agreement on behalf of the City of Redlands .
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 7th day of July, 1951.
