A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TBF- CITY OF REDLANDST
PROVIDING CROSSING PROTECTION AT THE INTERSECTION OF
TEXAS STR�;ET AND THE SANTA FE RAILROaD CROSSING NO. 2U-8.4
WHEREAS the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad company
desires to install crossing protection at the intersection
of Texas Street and the Santa Fe Railroad Crossing No. 2U-8.4p
and;
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Redlands desires to
provide for the safety and welfare of the motoring public, and;
t4HEREAS the crossing protection proposed by the Santa Fe
Railroad would accomplish the mutual objective of -"&-he Railroad
and the City.
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Redlands hereby approves the agreement prepared by the
Santa Fe Railroad Company to accomplish this objective, and
the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign
said agreement on behalf of the City of Redlands.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 2nd day of May, 1967.
