A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS CONCERNING AGREEWENT
WITH THE ATCHISON, 'TOPEKA AND SANTA FE RAILWAY COMPANY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF TfM CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS :
WHEREAS, the intersection of University Street with the
Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company, known as Cross-
ing No. 2U-9.8, constitutes a hazard to the motoring public
and the railway company, and
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands desires to minimize this
hazard by widening this intersection ; and
W:iEREAS the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company
has agreed with the City of Redlands in the widening of the
University Street grade crossing No. 2U-9.8 as authorized by
Decision No. 70866 of the Public Utilities Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED.-

ESOLVERs1. That the City Council of the City of Redlands
does hereby approve the agreement between the Atchison, Topeka
and Santa Fe Railway Company and the City of Redlands, specifi-
cally the widening of the University Street grade crossing
No. 2C7-9.8 and the cost apportionment for this widening, and
2. That the mayor and City Clerk are hereby author-
ized to sign this agreement on behalf of the City Council..
