RESOLUTION AIAEUDING RESOLUTION NO. 704 OP THA CITY OF REDLkNDS, WHICH WAS
ADOPTED DRCEMER 4o 1951, DESIGNATING A CERTAIN AREA OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
TO BE A REDEMOPMENT AREA PURSUANT TO THE REQUIREKENTS OF THE COMMuNITr
REDEVELOPPENT LAW OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
Whereas the City Council, of the City of Redlands has created a com=ity
Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redlands 1purs- anti to the Community Re-
development Law of the State of California, and has adopted Resolution
No. 702 whereby It did approve of an application for a 11relimina.ry Advance
from the Housing and. Name Finance Administrator,,
And. Whereas the original Resolution No. 704 contained an ambiguity in the
legal description of the redevelopment area and the say{ie is hereby corrected
by this Resolution,
And Whereas the City of Redlands does hereby find that there is an area of
the city which is suitable for redevelopment: pursuant to the said C€amauni.ty
Redevelopment Law of the State of California, and pursuant to the assistance
provided by Title I of the Rousing Act of 1949 (A Federal Act ) , TH ,FORE t
BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Redlands does hereby
declare that the following area of the City of Redlandsbe known as the
CENT DLANDS Att , and is hereby designated as a REDEVELOPMENT AREA,
pursuant to the Community Redevelopment Lair of the State of California.
The Central. Redlands Area, is described as follows:
All that real property situate In the City of Redlands, County of San Bernar-
dino, State of California,, described as follows:
Beginning at a, point approximately 200 feet south. of Colton Avenue on the
center line of Texas Street and following along a line parallel to but: a.pprox+
i.mAtely 200 foal soath of t 3 center line of Colton Avenue, east to the center
line of Grange Strset; thence, along the center line of Orange Street, south
to Pearl Avenue; thence, along Pearl Avenue, east to 6th Street; thence,, al,onj
6th Street# south to a point midway between Pearl. Avenue and High Avenue;
thence, along this line which is parallel, to but approximately 200 ,feet north.
of High Avenue, east to Church Street; thence, along Church Street, south to
Citrus Avenue-- thence, along Citrus Avenue$ west to the Intersection of Citruc
Avenue and Olive Avenue; thence, along Clive Avenue, southwest to an alleyway
between Citrus Avenue and Olive Avenue; thence, along this alleyway weat$ to
6th Street, thence along 6th Street, north, to the right-of-way of the Santa
Pe Rail -a ; thence, along this right-of-way, west to the easterly line of
Blocks "B and "C" of Wilson ,Subdivision, lied. .-47s C. S. 917 ► thence, along
this line which extended southward becomes the center lime of Third. Street,
south to the south line of Citrus Avenue, thence, west along the south line
of Citrus Avenue to the south line of Brookside Avenue,-hence, southwest
along the south line of Brookside Avenue to a point on the south line of
Brookside Avenue where it is intersected by a. prolongation of the northeaster]
boundary of err>okside .Avenue Subdivision, Rea. 23-19, C. S. -14 thence,
along said northeasterly boundary and. the prolongation thereof, port : e t to
the center line of an alleyway leading from Citrus Avenue to San Gorgoni.a
Drive; thence, along the center Lina of said alleyway southwest to San Caroni
Drive; thence, along Sara Gorgonio Drive, northwest to Texas Street, thence,
along Texas Street, north to the point of beginning,

on the 5th day of May, 1953, and that it was adopted by the follow-
