A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF
REDLANDS APPROVING AND TRANSMITTING TO THE REDLANDS CITY
COUNCIL THE AGENCY'S REPORT ON THE PROPOSED FOURTH
AMENDMENT TO THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN, AS AMENDED, FOR THE
REDLANDS REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Redlands City Council (the "City Council") approved and adopted the
Redevelopment Plan for the Redlands Redevelopment Project on September 26, 1972, by
Ordinance No. 1500 of the Redlands City Council and subsequently amended by Ordinance
Nos. 1575, 2336 and 2464, on February 17, 1976, November 5, 1996, and December 19, 2000,
respectively; and
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redlands (the " Redevelopment
Agency") has initiated proceedings to adopt the proposed Fourth Amendment to the
Redevelopment Plan, as amended, for the Redlands Redevelopment Project (the
"Amendment"); and
WHEREAS, the California Community Redevelopment Law (the "CRL") (California
Health and Safety Code Section 33000 of seq.) permits the adoption of redevelopment plans
and redevelopment plan amendments; and
WHEREAS, CRL Section 33457.1 requires the proposed Amendment to be
accompanied by a report to the legislative body that contains the information called for in CRL
Section 33352 to the extent warranted by the proposed Amendment; and
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redlands has prepared its Report
to the City Council on the proposed Amendment as required by the CRL.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Redevelopment Agency hereby resolves as follows:
SECTION 1: Pursuant to CRL Section 33352, the Redevelopment Agency has prepared
its Report to the City Council on the proposed Fourth Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan,
as amended, for the Redlands Redevelopment Project (the `Report to Council"), a copy of which
Report to Council is on file with the Agency Secretary and such Report to Council is
incorporated herein by reference.
SECTION 2: The Agency hereby approves its Report to Council.
SECTION 3: The Executive Director of the Agency is hereby authorized and directed to
transmit the Report to Council to the Redlands City Council.
SECTION 4: The Secretary of the Agency shall certify to the passage and adoption of
this resolution, and it shall thereupon take effect and be in force.
