RESOLUTION REJECTING THE TENTATIVE PLAN OF THE COMMUNITY
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FOR REDEVELOP°
MENT OF THE PROJECT, AREA. 1.
That Whereas on the 7th day of October, 1954, after due
and proper notice thereof according to law, a Public Hearing
was held by the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of
Redlands, County of San Bernardino, State of California, on the
Tentative Plan of the Agency for redevelopment of the Project ,
Area 1, under the authority of community redevelopment legisla-
tion, and whereas members ofthe Public and the City Council of
the City of Redlands were present at such hearing, and the report
of the Agency, as well as the interested persons being heard,
and whereas evidence was properly represented,
And, Whereas, at the hearing, the report of such tentative
plans and the testimony and evidence thereon was carefully
studied, considered and evaluated by the said. City Council of
the City of Redlands, as well as additional study and considers.-
tion being made by said legislative body of said tentative Flan,
and whereas the said Tentative Flan was submitted to the City
Council for approval or rejection4
Nov, Therefore, the City Council of the City of Redlands,
California, does hereby reject the proposed Tentative Plan of
Project, Area 1, of the Community Redevelopment Agency of the
City of Redlands, pursuant to Article No. 33561 of Div. 24,
Part 1, of the Health and Safety Code of the State of California,
and they hereby base their rejection of said Tentative Plan on
the following grounds
That t he Redevelopment Tentative Plan Area l would not re-
develop the area in conformity withthe general plan of the
community.
That it is not economically sound or feasible.
AND IT IS HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED THAT THE BUSINESS of the
Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redlands be con-
cluded as soon as possible and within a reasonable time, and that
upon completion of such business that the Agency be dissolved.
