A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 6679 RELATING TO THE SALE OF THE
NEVADA PALMETTO CITRUS GROVE
WIIEREAS,in 2008,the City Council adopted Resolution No. 6679 establishing policies,
principally based upon the voters approval in 1987 of Measure"0,"relating to the expenditure of the
proceeds from the possible sale of the Nevada Palmetto Citrus Grove; and
WHEREAS,since the adoption of Resolution No.6679,the City Council has received new,
additional information relating to the sources of funds used to purchase the Nevada Palmetto Citrus
Grove; and
WHEREAS,it is the desire of the City Council to take advantage of this new information in
connection with consideration and implementation of the City's Public Benefits Resources
Community Task Force's recommendations regarding the acquisition and development of public
benefit resources and the expenditure of proceeds from the sale of the Nevada Palmetto Citrus
Grove;
NOW,THEREFORE,be it resolved by the City Council ofthe City of Redlands as follows:
Section 1. Resolution No. 6679 is hereby rescinded.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 2nd day of October,2012.
